Current Events In Context

Current Events in Context forums provide opportunities for GPIS students, faculty, and other members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community to discuss pressing political or social events in an organized and informed setting. Each forum is led by a GPIS faculty member, who typically begins with a short presentation of relevant facts and/or timeline of related events to provide context for the shared discussion that follows. These forums provide excellent opportunities to apply theoretical concepts and arguments to develop our understandings of news concerning ongoing real-world events. Workshops are announced in the weekly Bulletin.
