Johannes Brahms wrote "A German Requiem" not so much to commemorate the dead but rather to comfort the living—those who are left behind. Each movement of this choral-orchestral masterpiece recognizes and allows for grief but also offers hope beyond loss—leading ultimately to peace and even joy. Directed by Nancy Klein and Paul Sanho Kim. Featuring voice soloists Larry Jay Giddens, baritone, and Nairobi King, soprano. Also featuring the first movement of Edvard Grieg’s iconic First Piano Concerto with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Young Artists Competition winner Christina Wong.
