Queer Studies examines the social, historical, and cultural construction of gender and sexuality, and the diverse experiences of LGBTQ+ people. This program will enable students to examine how these experiences are shaped by race, class, disability, and other identities.

Students develop skills to work in fields that focus on gender and sexual diversity through analyzing contemporary debates within the field of queer studies and LGBTQ+ activism and understanding the histories of LGBTQ+ people.
